Stay connected for news and updates

The Houston Astros opened a three-game weekend set in Atlanta at Turner Field against the Braves on Friday night and fell by a final score of 4-1, stretching their losing streak to four consecutive games.

They'll try and get back on the winning track on Saturday night against the Braves newly acquired pitcher, Paul Maholm who will be making his Braves debut.

Right-hander rookie pitcher Lucas Harrell will get the start on the mound for the Astros on Saturday night who had a solid July as he put up an ERA of 3.03 in five starts. Harrell leads the National League in innings pitched by a rookie and became the only rookie in the NL to pitch a shutout on June 27th against the San Diego Padres.
