The Houston Cougars' loss to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane dropped them to third place in the West Division of Conference USA.
The Houston Cougars fell to 4-6 on the year and 3-3 in Conference USA play with a loss to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Saturday, and a win by Southern Methodist puts Houston one full game behind SMU second-place. Tulsa remained perfect in conference play through six games and moved to 8-2 overall.
