Former Houston Dynamo and current Eintracht Frankfurt center-defensive midfielder, Ricardo Clark, broke is left cheekbone during practice today in Germany.
The United States Men's National Team midfielder is expected to miss up to four weeks. Clark's injury comes at a bad time for the player, who had started three games for the Eintracht Frankfurt prior to the injury. Previously, Clark had trouble breaking into the first-team, but was beginning to build some momentum and started seeing more playing time.
In an interview with MLSSoccer.com, an Eintracht spokesperson stated that Clark "will be in the hospital for two weeks" and "won't be able to play for three or four weeks."
Clark has only seen action in ten games for the German club since leaving the Houston Dynamo during last year's winter transfer window.
