Lovel Palmer’s shocker of a night continued in the 52nd minute when the Jamaican was issued his second yellow of the night for a challenge on Bernardo Anor. Palmer’s red card will result in the player missing next week’s match on the road against DC United.
The Dynamo are losing 1-0 after a first half goal from Andres Mendoza in the 41st minute. This has been a sloppy game from the men in orange. All in all, this game is the embodiment of all that is bad and sloppy about the Eastern Conference.
Lovel Palmer, who is having a shocker of a first half, picked up Houston’s second yellow card on the night for a challenge in the middle of the pitch. The card was shown in the 45th minute of the match.
The Columbus Crew were able to capitalize on a Bobby Boswell mistake to take a 1-0 lead with just five minutes remaining in the first half. Mendoza fired a low shot into the corner of the net, past the onrushing Tally Hall. The goal occurred in the 41st minute of the match.
