Kevin Martin And Brad Miller Sit Tonight, Chuck Hayes To Return To Practice Tomorrow

Stay connected for news and updates

The Rockets will be without guard Kevin Martin and center Brad Miller again tonight as the team takes on the Oklahoma City Thunder at Toyota Center. Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle is reporting that in addition to these two being out, center/forward Chuck Hayes will begin practicing tomorrow and then will ‘lobby’ to be cleared to play.

Hayes return would be right on-line with the early timetable in the original prognosis, should he successfully lobby coach Rick Adelman. January 14th against the Hornets may be his target date. The Rockets still don’t think Martin’s injury is a long-term one, but his shooting wrist is sprained and that will keep him out. Miller continues to be hobbled by his sore knee.
