Jeremy Lin makes his return to Houston in his Rockets home debut tonight against the Hornets.
Houston will get its first chance to say hello again to Jeremy Lin tonight when the Rockets host the New Orleans Hornets at the Toyota Center in the team's first true home preseason contest. The state of Texas got to see Lin in the Rockets' 107-105 preseason opening win on Wednesday night, but that game was in Hidalgo. This time around, it is a true home game and Lin is back.
Lin played 20 minutes on Wednesday, scoring just three points on 1-of-3 shooting, but he did add six assists and three steals.
Meanwhile, another newcomer stole the show. Rookie Terrence Jones scored 20 points and pulled in six rebounds in his professional debut, showing why the Rockets made him the 18th overall pick in the NBA Draft.
The Hornets already have three preseason games under their belts. They started on Sunday with a game against the Orlando Magic in Mexico City before playing the Charlotte Bobcats twice, once at home and one away. They have won all three games.
Game Date/Time: Friday, October 12; 7:00 p.m. CT
Venue: Toyota Center, Houston, Texas
TV: CSN Houston
