NBA Trade Rumors: Lakers Getting Ramon Sessions, Don't Need Kyle Lowry?

Stay connected for news and updates

Well, it seems that the Pau Gasol trade to Houston was never going to happen. The Lakers have moved on, trying to acquire a frontcourt player in Michael Beasley that'd make Luis Scola irrelevant and now trading for Ramon Sessions making either Kyle Lowry or Goran Dragic equally irrelevant.

Houston is still trying to make an impact trade, but it's unclear what that might be. Does Chris Kaman qualify? Because the Rockets may be able to pick up the big center for a song. If they also flip guys like Courtney Lee and some of the 2009 first-rounders for future first-round picks, they'd at least do something.

Just seems like a lot of buildup for not much action for Houston, which reminds me a lot of last season, too. Get with it, Daryl!
