The Houston Rockets suffered another blow to its decimated backcourt when Goran Dragic suffered an ankle injury midway through the overtime period in the Rockets' 113-106 win over the Sacramento Kings. Dragic turned his ankle while trying to close out on a Kings shooter and had to be helped from the floor.

Dragic had been playing extremely well since stepping in for Kyle Lowry who is out with a bacterial infection that may sideline him for the rest of the season. In addition to Lowry being out, starting shooting guard and leading scorer Kevin Martin is also out with a shoulder injury.
Things are so bad for the Rockets that Earl Boykins signed a contract about an hour before tip off with the Kings and played 21 minutes and finished with 10 points and five assists. If Dragic is forced to miss time then that leaves Kevin McHale with only Boykin and Courtney Fortson as healthy options at the point guard position.
