Rockets Vs. Mavericks Final Score: Houston Runs Out Of Gas Against Dallas

The shorthanded Houston Rockets managed just 32 points in the second half of their 90-81 loss to the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday night. Houston scored just 12 points in the third quarter as the Mavericks took control of the game for good. The Rockets are without their starting backcourt combination of Kyle Lowry and Kevin Martin and could have used the extra fire power against the Mavericks.

Luis Scola led the Rockets with 22 points and eight rebounds. Goran Dragic shook off his own ankle injury to finish with 17 points and seven assists. chandler Parsons added 15 points while Courtney Lee finished with 10.

Dirk Nowitzki led Dallas with 21 points and six rebounds. Rodrigue Beaubois added 14 points off the bench while Brandan Wright and Jason Terry finished with 13 and 12 respectively. Shawn Marion scored just four points but grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.

Rockets Vs. Mavericks Score: Houston Clinging To 49-46 Lead At Halftime

The Houston Rockets jumped out to a big early lead but saw the Dallas Mavericks whittle it all the way down to a 49-46 advantage at the break. Houston hit half of its field goal attempts in the first half and knocked down five three pointers.

Luis Scola got off to a great start with 16 points, five rebounds and three assists. Chandler Parsons added 10 points and Goran Dragic returned from an ankle injury and has nine points and five assists at the break.

The Rockets were outscored 27-19 in the second quarter by the Mavericks. Dirk Nowitzki struggled from the field but hit 9-10 free throw attempts and has 13 points to lead the Mavericks. Rodrigue Beaubois scored nine points off the bench while Vince Carter has seven for the Mavericks.
