The Houston Rockets will try to bounce back from Tuesday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks when they host the Memphis Grizzlies Friday night at the Toyota Center.
Houston remains in the thick of things in the Western Conference playoff race despite injuries to its starting backcourt of Kyle Lowry and Kevin Martin. The Rockets are currently occupying the eighth and final playoff spot with a 27-24 record. The Rockets are just a game and a half behind the Grizzlies for sixth place.
Memphis has won two straight games after knocking off the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. Rudy Gay led the Grizzlies with 21 points while Dante Cunningham had 13 points and 14 rebounds.
