Samuel Dalembert Injury: Houston Rockets Center Suffering Back Problems, According To Report

Stay connected for news and updates

Houston Rockets center Samuel Dalembert is nursing a bad back, according to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen:

That potentially leaves the Rockets with two missing centers suffering back issues - Marcus Camby missed Monday's loss to the Nuggets with back issues after playing just under eight minutes on Saturday night in Denver. If both Camby and Dalembert are unavailable for Wednesday's crucial game against Dallas, second year man Patrick Patterson could get the nod. Feigen notes he's 1 of 14 against the Mavericks in his career.

The Rockets have lost four straight, including two crucial games to a Nuggets team they're competing with in the Western Conference playoff race. Houston is tied with Portland for the final playoff spot, but in ninth place due to a lesser conference record.
