Rockets Vs. Lakers Halftime Score: Houston Trailing L.A. 59-50

After a first quarter where the Houston Rockets led 29-24 the second quarter was not as kind and now they trail the Los Angeles Lakers 59-50 at the half. The Lakers are being led in scoring by Kobe Bryant who has 18 points and Ron Artest Metta World Peace who has 17 points at the break.

The Rockets are struggling to get points on the board and are shooting 41 percent as a team with Luis Scola the only player in double figures with 11 points. It also does not help the Rockets cause that they have gone to the free throw line twice while the Lakers have gone 17-for-20. If the Rockets can flip around the free throw shooting then they might have a chance to comeback in this game.
