After a bunch of trades and rumored moves, the Rockets ended up keeping the No. 12 overall pick and selecting UConn guard Jeremy Lamb.
The 6-foot-5 Lamb averaged 17.7 points for a disappointing Huskies team last season. Despite the height, his wingspan is 6-foot-11. He's good at creating his own shot, has a great mid-range game, shooting 60.1 percent on two-point shots.
He's a great scorer, but will need to pass the ball more. Given the length and athleticism, he probably should be a better defender. But he can definitely fill it up, and that's what the Rockets will want him to do.
