It's obvious that one of the Rockets' top priorities this offseason is re-signing Goran Dragic, who became an unrestricted free agent this summer. The sexy news have been the moves to acquire Dwight Howard, which are certainly admirable in their ambition.
But with Kyle Lowry on the trading block, the Rockets want to secure that position with someone at least equally capable.
Jonathan Feigen of The Houston Chronicle reported on Monday that Dragic is meeting with the team before the end of the day.
Rockets GM DMorey expected to meet w/ Goran Dragic today, source said. Having met with Gordon and agreed w/ Asik, emphasis on Rockets pt gd.

Retaining Dragic is likely to be the biggest move of the summer for the Rockets, at least as far next season is concerned. Dragic had a breakout year in 2011-12, averaging a career high 11.7 points and 5.3 assists a game.
