One day away from the deadline, the Bulls still aren't expected to match the Rockets' offer for center Omer Asik, according to ESPNChicago.
The team is also expected to decline to match the Houston Rockets' three-year, $25.1 million offer to Omer Asik, according to a source familiar with the situation.
With a backloaded deal and the Bulls set to deal with the luxury tax, Chicago opted for a cheaper deal with Nazr Mohammed. Asik averaged 3.1 points and 5.3 rebounds in 14.7 minutes per game with the Bulls last season.
