Jeremy Lin Begins Asian Tour In Taiwan

Stay connected for news and updates

We all got a chance to see Jeremy Lin working on his game and having a good time in this video. Now he's in Asia touring the continent before things get busy for him in Houston. Lin, the first American-born NBA player of Taiwanese descent, landed in Taiwan early Saturday morning. This is Lin's first time there since Linsanity erupted.

He reportedly checked into a five-star hotel in eastern Taipei, rested a bit, then hit up a local high school gym for a near five-hour workout. The practice session wasn't apart of Lin's official schedule, but it didn't take long for word to surface that he was working out close by, so hundreds of fans were waiting on him when the workout was over.

Lin is scheduled to meet with local fans in the Ximenting area of Taipei, a popular hangout for teenagers. On Sunday, Lin will do a news conference in an upscale area of Taiwan, before flying to China for a basketball camp.
