The NBA Hall Of Fame will hold its 2012 induction on Friday night.

Ralph Sampson will be one of the highlighted players as eight new faces join the NBA Hall Of Fame on Friday evening. The former No. 1 draft pick, rookie of the year and four time All-Star for the Rockets whose career was sadly derailed by injury was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011 and joins the big league hall only a year later.

Reggie Miller will likely be the star of the show during the induction, finally getting into the Hall after surprisingly missing the cut last season when he first became eligible. The Pacers forward was known as one of the most clutch players in basketball history before his retirement in 2005. Other big names going in include legendary coach Don Nelson and the first professional women's team, the All-American Red Heads.

When: 5:30 p.m. CT, Friday

Where: Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Springfield, Mass.

TV Coverage: NBA TV
