Three Houston Texans Named To AFC Pro Bowl Team

Stay connected for news and updates

The "Leach to the Beach" campaign worked as Houston Texans fullback Vonta Leach was named the starting fullback for the AFC's 2011 Pro Bowl team.

Joining the first-time Pro Bowler in Hawaii will be the man he cleared the road for, the NFL's leading rusher Arian Foster, and Houston's best player, five-time Pro Bowler Andre Johnson.

The full rosters can be found here, but fans should expect them to change as injuries and playoff runs happen. Still, it's nice to see the great seasons of Johnson, Leach, and Foster be recognized by fans, players, and coaches. Well deserved for all parties.

EDIT: Per the reliable Nick Scurfield, QB Matt Schaub, DE Antonio Smith, and SS Bernard Pollard were named as alternates should people bow out.
