Three key players who missed last week's game against the Bears were back on the practice field on Wednesday for the Texans.

Houston Texans defensive tackle Shaun Cody, running back Ben Tate and tight end Owen Daniels, all of whom missed the team's win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday night, were listed as limited participants in Wednesday's practice.

Cody suffered broken ribs and a punctured lung in the Texans' Week 9 victory over the Buffalo Bills, while Tate is still recovering from a hamstring injury that happened against the Baltimore Ravens. Cody's status for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars is unknown, while Tate will be re-evaluated at the end of the week, according to head coach Gary Kubiak.

Daniels was the closest of the three to playing against the Bears, but was ultimately ruled out by the training staff due to a sore hip.

Linebacker Tim Dobbins (shoulder), defensive end Antonio Smith (ankle) and wide receiver Kevin Walter (groin) were all limited participants in Wednesday's practice, as well. Eight other players with a host of ailments, including starting guard Wade Smith (knee) and linebacker Bradie James (thumb), fully participated.
