The Houston Texans beat up on the Buffalo Bills both physically and on the scoreboard during their 21-9 win in Week 9 NFL action. While the Bills ended up with a bloated list of injured players after losing the game, the Texans escaped mostly unscathed on the injury report when it came to new additions.
Two players did leave the game against the Bills with injuries: nose tackle Shaun Cody left with bruised ribs and cornerback Johnathan Joseph was pulled with a sprained wrist. Neither injury was serious in the end, and both players ended up returning to the field before the game ended.
The only player who was listed as "out" on the official Texans injury report before the game was Ben Tate, while the Bills had a large list of probables. One of them was Quintin Demps, who got his first appearance in about a month on the field while wearing a protective cast to help with his thumb/forearm injury.

Arian Foster's three-yard run less than three minutes in highlighted action in the third quarter at Reliant Stadium, where the Houston Texans lead the Buffalo Bills, 14-9.
Foster's touchdown gave Houston a 14-6 lead over the 3-4 Bills. Buffalo answered about four minutes later when Rian Lindell knocked home his third field goal of the game, this one from 39 yards out.
With just one quarter left to play, Foster is the game's leading rusher with 74 yards. C.J. Spiller has 39 to lead Buffalo.
Matt Schaub has led the charge for Houston Sunday afternoon at quarterback. He is 12-of-19 for 192 yards through the air. Ryan Fitzpatrick is 19 of 27 for 192 yards for the Bills.
Aside from trailing by five points heading into the fourth quarter, another concern for Buffalo is the health of cornerback Aaron Williams. The two-year player out of Texas hurt his knee early on in the quarter and his return is doubtful.

The Houston Texans got on the board with only 44 seconds to go in the first quarter, and that has just barely held up, as Houston leads the Buffalo Bills, 7-6, going into halftime at Reliant Stadium.
Houston quarterback Matt Schaub hit Owen Daniels from 39 yards out for the game's only touchdown with time running out in the opening 15 minutes to cap a four-play, 77-yard drive.
Schaub finished the half 8-of-14 for 124 yards. His Buffalo counterpart, Brian Fitzpatrick, was 14-for-17 for 144 yards.
Buffalo got its six points off a pair of field goals from Rian Lindell in the final two minutes of the half. The second field goal, with just five seconds left, came after Fitzpatrick was sacked for a loss of six yards nearing the endzone. The Bills instead had to settle for three points off a 38-yard kick from Lindell.
With such a low-scoring game, this hasn't been one to fill the box score, but Arian Foster leads both teams with 62 yards rushing on seven carries. Fred Jackson has 19 yards on the ground to lead the Bills.

The 6-1 Houston Texans lead the 3-4 Buffalo Bills by a touchdown after one quarter at Reliant Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The only score of the game, a 39-yard connection between Matt Schaub and Owen Daniels, made it 7-0 with just 44 seconds to go in the opening period. The touchdown ended a four-play, 77-yard drive that took exactly two minutes to transpire.
Overall, Schaub is 5-of-8 passing for 84 yards. Daniels and Andre Johnson both had two receptions. Adrian Foster has all 41 rushing yards for the Texans on six carries.
Buffalo quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, meanwhile, is 3-of-5 for 23 yards. The Bills have just three yards rushing.
Neither team turned the ball over in the first quarter, but the Texans did have three penalties, which costed them 17 yards.
The two teams have also yet to reach the red zone in what has been a defensive struggle so far in Houston.
