The Texans are ready for "colossal" showdown against the Bears on Sunday night.
The Houston Texans face the Chicago Bears in a meeting of 7-1 teams Sunday night that also doubles as a potential Super Bowl preview, and the Texans appear ready for the challenge, according to a report from the team's website on Tuesday.
"It's a big game - very big game," said wide receiver Andre Johnson. "I think that the big thing is not to put too much pressure on yourself. We know the significance of this game. It's probably the biggest game in this franchise's history."
According to the article, this game is only the seventh contest since 1970 in which two teams will meet in Week 9 or later with one loss or fewer.
"They are very well-built in what they do, and they've been together for a long time," Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said in the report. "We have a serious task ahead of us."
Kickoff is set for 7:20 p.m. CT at Soldier Field on Sunday, and the game will be televised on NBC.
