Texans vs. Colts 2012: Game preview, kickoff time, TV schedule and more

USA TODAY Sports

Both the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts have their spot in the playoffs clinched going into their game on Sunday.

The second AFC South showdown this month between the Colts and Texans will have a bit less intrigue than the first meeting, simply because both teams have now clinched their berth in the playoffs and will probably be playing with some backups on the field. Houston long ago clinched the division, while the Colts clinched their spot in the month of January with their 20-13 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16 action.

With both teams already in, that probably means another Matt Schaub vs. Andrew Luck showdown won't be on the cards, at least not for the full 60 minutes of game time.

Colts head coach Chuck Pagano will probably provide the biggest pre-game storyline. Though his interim coach has led the Colts to the playoffs, this will be the first game coached by Pagano since his return to the team after battling leukemia throughout the year.
