Houston Texans Select Georgia Center Ben Jones With 99th Pick

With the 99th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans have selected Ben Jones, center from the Georgia Bulldogs. These NFL Draft 2012 results go against the projections for Jones, whom many scouts and evaluators felt could be a second-third round selection.

Jones will be in a position to possibly be able to start for the Texans as a rookie. Some of rated Jones as the second best center in the draft, and as an All-SEC center was a starter for the Bulldogs as a freshman.

The Houston Texans' have four picks remaining thus far in the draft, their next pick will be the 121st selection in the 4th round.
