NFL Draft Results 2012: The Houston Texans Select Jared Crick At No. 126

With the 126th pick in the 4th round of the 2012 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans have selected Jared Crick, a defensive tackle from the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Crick comes to the Texans as one of the most accomplished Cornhusker lineman in program history.

In a 2011 season that ended after just five games due to injury, Crick had 22 tackles and one sack. Over his career at Nebraska, he made 167 total tackles with 20 sacks and three fumble recoveries. His awards over his career include being First Team All-Big 12 in 2009 and 2010 and being named to Rivals.com First Team All-America in 2010.

Crick and first-round selection Whitney Mercilus will be asked to replace former No. 1 overall pick Mario Williams who was signed by the Buffalo Bills as a free agent in the offseason.
