Houston native Vince Young signs a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills.

Houston native and former Madison High School football standout Vince Young has signed with the Buffalo Bills, according to a report by Adam Schefter. In an ironic twist of events, now Young is not only teammates with Mario Williams, the player the Texans picked over him with the first selection in the 2006 NFL Draft, but they are both playing for the Bills, a longtime Houston foe.

His deal is for one year, worth $2 million. There is also up to an additional $1 million in playing time bonuses for Young.

Young was up and down as a backup for Michael Vick with the Philadelphia Eagles last season and 1-2 as a stater filling in for Vick when injured, after declaring them as "like a dream team" before the season started. The Eagles failed to make the playoffs but came on strong late in the season.

Young made no secrets about being open to the opportunity of playing at home, but the Texans have never shown interest in the hometown product.
