The Houston Texans agreed to terms on Wednesday with quarterback John Beck.

Beck last played for the Washington Redskins and was cut recently when the team drafted Robert Griffin III No. 2 overall out of Baylor and Michigan State signal caller Kirk Cousins in the fourth round of this years NFL Draft.

Houston will be the fourth stop in the career of Beck who has also also played for the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens and the aforementioned Redskins.

NFL.com has the report:

Beck will presumably compete for the No. 3 quarterback role with undrafted rookie Case Keenum behind starter Matt Schaub and backup T.J. Yates.

Beck had recently signed a contract extension with the Redskins last September worth $2.25 million over two years.
