Houston Texans Bring In CB Alan Ball, RB Justin Forsett

Stay connected for news and updates

While there is only a week left of OTA's, the Houston Texans are still trying to round out the end of their roster, as the team brought free agent CB Alan Ball and RB Justin Forsett into camp this week.

Ball, a sixth-year CB out of Illinois, has extensive experience in defensive coordinator Wade Phillips from his time in Dallas, where he spent the first five years of his NFL career.

The 6'2 200 Ball started 16 games for the Cowboys in 2010 but did not distinguish himself with 46 tackles and 2 interceptions. Dallas moved him into a reserve role for the 2011 season, where despite the complete collapse of their secondary, Ball only managed to start 2 games.

Forsett, a sixth-year RB out of California, has never managed to carve out a consistent role in five seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks. In 2011, he rushed for 145 yards on 46 attempts with 1 TD for Seattle.
