Keshawn Martin Slightly Ahead Of Devier Posey As OTA's End

With Andre Johnson and Kevin Walter not participating in the Houston Texans' OTA's, the team is dangerously thin at WR, a need that was exposed last season when Johnson suffered the first major injury of his career.

As a result, Houston could need the two Big Ten WR's they selected in the middle rounds of the NFL draft, DeVier Posey (Ohio State) in the third and Keshawn Martin (Michigan State) in the fourth, to contribute immediately.

According to WR's coach Larry Kirksey, Martin is slightly ahead of Posey at this point:

"We're throwing a lot at those two guys," Kirksey said. "Keshawn's had more opportunities to make plays. But I think they're both going to be fine. It's just a learning process for both of them right now."

Martin, a 5'10 190 WR who caught 66 pass for 777 yards and 4 TD's last season, could also double as a punt returner, something Houston will need after they cut Jacoby Jones in the off-season.
