The Houston Texans kick off preseason action against the Carolina Panthers on Saturday.
The wait is over and the Texans much anticipated season finally gets underway on Saturday against the Carolina Panthers. Well, the preseason anyway. But football is football and the Texans are the Texans. So this game is undoubtedly going to garner the attention of the entire fan base.
And it's not just the Texans, here. We're talking about the Panthers who feature Cam Newton, possibly the best rookie quarterback the game has ever seen, entering his sophomore campaign. And one of his targets is Houston's own Brandon LaFell, formerly of LSU, Lamar High School (and of course Gregory Lincoln from the middle school days).
Here's a look at the game schedule and broadcast information:
Date/Time: Saturday, Aug. 11, 6 p.m.
TV: CBS
