Texans Training Camp: Gary Kubiak Gives Status Updates For Injured Players

Stay connected for news and updates

The Houston Texans have had multiple players miss practice time due to various injuries so far in training camp. There is some good news as head coach Gary Kubiak said that wide receiver Andre Johnson (groin), Duane Brown (leg bruise) and Kareem Jackson (hamstring) will all be back at practice on Monday.

However, there are other Texans players who will still miss time:

Defensive end Ra'Shon Harris has "a groin or quad" strain, Kubiak said, and wide receiver Jerrell Jackson "has a pretty good quad pull," which will keep him out "for eight to 10 days. But we'll wait on him because we think he's got a ton of talent."

"We've got some guys nicked up right now," he said, "but we know we're getting them back."

The Texans players are given a break with a day and a half off and will resume practicing on Monday.
