Expert picks for Sunday's game between the Houston Texans and Denver Broncos.
The Houston Texans host Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET. After taking apart two inferior teams to open the season, the Texans are favored by two to beat a Broncos team that struggled at Atlanta on Monday night.
Joel Thorman at SBNation.com picks the Texans to win 34-27, though with some reservation:
(T)he Texans, who admittedly haven't played world beaters in the first two weeks, look like the real deal. Denver will struggle containing their rushing attack and Peyton Manning will float another ball or two to the Texans' defense, who are ranked No. 1 in the league right now. I don't feel great about this pick but Houston wins.
Of ESPN's 12 experts, only Tom Jackson and Seth Wickersham pick the Broncos to win on Sunday, along with AccuScore. Pete Prisco at CBS Sports takes the Broncos by a 23-17 final.
