Tulsa will attempt to stay undefeated in conference play when it faces Rice.
The University of Tulsa will attempt to remain perfect in conference play when it hosts Rice at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The Golden Hurricane is favored by 21 points over the Owls.
After an opening weekend loss to Iowa State, Tulsa has won six straight games including four straight in conference to lead the Conference USA West division. Rice has opened the season with a 2-5 record and is 0-3 in conference play.
Tulsa boasts a two-headed rushing attack that ranks 10th nationally and averages 250.7 yards per game. Running back Ja'Terian Douglas has 72 carries for 452 yards and five touchdowns while Trey Watts has 73 carries for 507 yards and two touchdowns.
The Tulsa offense has scored 30-plus points in the last three games and is averaging 41.1 points per game, which ranks 13th in the country. Rice's defense is giving up 35.1 points per game which ranks 106th nationally.
