Texas A&M will avoid SEC play for another week as they face off against South Carolina State. Meanwhile, the Houston Cougars have the weekend off.
Conference play beginning all around college football this weekend guarantees a lot of excitement as teams seek hot starts against their close rivals. Texas A&M will escape the start of conference play over the weekend though, as they instead look for their second win of the season against South Carolina State of the MEAC before finally starting their SEC schedule against Arkansas a week later.
The Houston Cougars will get a week off after going 0-3 to start the season. They'll face off against Rice on Sept. 29 in their next game following the break.
