Robert Griffin, Aggie Mistakes Mark First Quarter

The Texas A&M offense looked great marching down the field into the red zone on its only two drives of the first quarter. However, a costly interception by Ryan Tannehill on a screen play to Cyrus Gray kept A&M from getting points on the first drive. Then, a failed double pass from Gray to Jeff Fuller meant A&M had to kick a field goal on the second drive. Against this Baylor team, the Aggies are going to need more production in the red zone than that.

Speaking of the Baylor offense, Robert Griffin III has looked quite good, showing excellent moves in the pocket and throwing darts all over the field. That run where he escaped the Aggie pass rush, hurdled a defender and then ran up the field for a first down was simply spectacular.

If there were good signs for the A&M defense, it's that Terrence Frederick looks to be having a good game while Damontre Moore is totally overmatching Baylor right tackle Ivory Wade with his speed. On his sack of Griffin, Moore didn't even come in contact with Wade in turning the corner and hitting Griffin.
