Texas A&M vs. Oklahoma: Aggies Are Two TD Underdogs In Norman

Texas A&M is 0-5 in Norman since Bob Stoops took over at Oklahoma.

After another second-half collapse against the Missouri Tigers last week, the Texas A&M Aggies will try to salvage their last season in the Big 12 this Saturday when they travel to play No. 7 Oklahoma in Norman.

Ever since Bob Stoops took over at Oklahoma, Gaylord Memorial Stadium has been a house of horrors for Texas A&M. They've gone 0-5 in Norman against Stoops, most notably in 2003, when the Sooners beat them 77-0.

And while this Aggies team is far more talented, the odds makers aren't giving them much of a chance this weekend, as the Sooners opened as -13.5 favorites.

The Texas A&M secondary, which has repeatedly been exposed in the second half of games this season, will have their hands full against Landry Jones and Oklahoma's high-flying passing attack.

The Sooners are coming off a 58-17 demolition of the previously undefeated Kansas State Wildcats in Manhattan, as they are still smarting from their shocking home loss to Texas Tech two weeks ago. But Oklahoma is unlikely to look past the Aggies, not after they lost 33-17 to them in College Station last season.

Cyrus Gray had a dominant day on the ground, running for 122 yards and 1 TD on 21 carries, while Texas A&M's defense stopped Oklahoma three different times on 4rth-and-1 at the goal-line.

The Aggies' stable of offensive stars -- QB Ryan Tannehill, Gray, RB Christine Michael and WR Jeff Fuller -- will all need to have big games on Saturday if they are going to pull of the upset for the second year in a row.
