Texas A&M Vs. Alcorn State Final Score: Aggies Defeat Braves 56-44

Ray Turner scored 16 points while Dash Harris had seven assists in the Aggies' 56-44 win over Alcorn State Wednesday night.

Texas A&M moved to 5-1 on the season with a 56-44 victory at home over Alcorn State Wednesday night. The win was the Aggies' third in a row since falling to Mississippi State on November 17. 

Ray turner finished with 16 points and six rebounds while David Loubeau chipped in 14 points for the Aggies. Point guard Dash Harris finished with just two points but had five rebounds and seven assists in the game. Texas A&M connected on 40 percent of their field goal attempts but had a cold night from long range going 0-17 from beyond-the-arc. The Aggies made up for that cold shooting by holding a decisive 44-27 advantage on the boards. 

KeDorian Sullivan led the way for the Braves with 11 points and eight rebounds whose record drops to 1-5 on the season. JaMichael Hawkins finished with eight points. 

Texas A&M jumped out to a 30-17 lead in the first half but was outscored 27-26 in the second half by the Braves.
