The Big 12 has released their selections for the All-Big 12 preseason team, and Mike Sherman's squad garnered a great deal of attention this year.
↵A&M's Cyrus Gray is one of two running backs chosen, and OL Luke Joeckel was also selected. Joeckel played very well last year as a true freshman, starting every game on A&M's young offense line. He is one of just three sophomores selected to the All-Big 12 team.
↵A&M DB Coryell Judie's selection is one of many preseason awards for the talented corner, and he has already been placed on the following watch lists: Thorpe award, Bronko Nagurski award, and the Bednarik award. Judie also made this year's team as a kick returner after returning two kickoffs for touchdowns last year.
↵While Oklahoma led the way with nine selections, A&M tied Oklahoma State with four representatives apiece. The Longhorns have three players on the team, including Newcomer of the Year RB Malcom Brown.
↵Texas Tech and Baylor were not represented at all on this year's All-Big 12 team.
