Texas A&M vs. LSU: Night owl Tigers adjusting schedules for early kickoff

As they prepare for an 11 a.m. CT kickoff, the LSU Tigers have had to alter their gameday preparations against the Texas A&M Aggies this Saturday.

As they prepare for an 11 a.m. CT kickoff this Saturday against the No. 20 Texas A&M Aggies, LSU Tigers head coach Les Miles admitted that the team has had to alter their gameday preparations due to the early start.

LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette told Scott Rabalais of The Advocate that the Tigers will begin their day with a 7 a.m. CT breakfast before leaving their hotel at 8 a.m. CT to make the hour long trip to from Lake Conroe to College Station.

Miles spoke with Rabalais that he brought a nutritionist and a sleep medicine specialist to help the team deal with the early kickoff, which the team also used when they played the Washington Huskies back in 2009.

Miles knows that the team will Miles said that the team will be eating a healthier breakfast Saturday, providing more multi-grain options while keeping the sugary and starchy foods off the table.
