The Texas A&M Aggies face the No. 6 LSU Tigers on Saturday in College Station at 11 a.m. CT. The Aggies have a chance to make a big statement on the national scene with a win over the Tigers, as much of the country will have their eyes on Kyle Field.

This game wouldn't be as big if it wasn't for Texas A&M's hot start, and they've earned national recognition under new head coach Kevin Sumlin. The Aggies have turned heads with their high-powered offense, and now have the chance to capitalize on the prestige that the SEC offers, as Jerome Solomon of Chron.com pointed out:

"A&M's winning is why the nation's eyes will be on the loudest stadium in the country Saturday. And its early success is what makes this a big game, not the fact the Tigers bring a top-10 team to town.

"Quite a few top-10 teams have come to Kyle Field in the past decade or so. A couple - No. 9 Nebraska in 2010 and No. 1 Oklahoma in 2002 - left with a loss, but what A&M got out of those wins were mostly a feeling of what could have been."

Both teams come into Saturday's early game with just one loss, and both of those losses came to BCS No. 2 Florida. The winner between LSU and A&M will have a legitimate shot at not only a major bowl game, but also sneaking in to the national title game by winning out.
