2012 National Signing Day: Matt Davis Already At Texas A&M

One of the few slam dunks of National Signing day, Klein Forest quarterback Matt Davis won't actually have one. You see, the father of the #agswagg movement on Twitter and a unifying force in keeping a potential Top 10 recruiting class together is already enrolled at Texas A&M for the spring semester.

Feb 1, 2012 - One of the few slam dunks of National Signing day, Klein Forest quarterback Matt Davis won't actually have one. You see, the father of the #agswagg movement on Twitter and a unifying force in keeping a potential Top 10 recruiting class together is already enrolled at Texas A&M for the spring semester.

That means Davis will be able to go through spring workouts with the team and have a shot to start in place of graduating senior Ryan Tannehill. The 6-foot-2, 200 pounder is both fast and a pretty good passer. Davis is down as running a 4.4 40-yard dash but also put up some impressive passing numbers this season, throwing for 1,489 yards and 13 touchdowns this season with 931 rushing yards and 13 rushing TDs.
