Texas A&M Vs. Kansas State Final Score: Poor Second Half Dooms Aggies Against Wildcats, Lose 64-53

The Texas A&M Aggies fell to the Kansas St. Wildcats due to a bad second half and poor free throw shooting. After the first half Texas A&M was actually leading Kansas State by one point and they were keeping pace for the first five minutes in the second half. Kansas State then went on a 13-1 run to take a 43-35 lead with just under 10 minutes left in the game, and they never gave up that lead.

Texas A&M made an attempt to stay in this game with their three-point shooting and they did make 9 of 16 which was four more than Kansas State, but they could not hit anything from the two-point line as their overall shooting percentage was at 42 percent. Also, Texas A&M could not make their free throws and made only 8 of 15, but Kansas State was on the other end of the spectrum and made 17 of 22 from the line.

The Texas A&M defense also allowed a career-high scoring night to Will Spradling who had 19 points and allowed Angel Rodriguez to score 13 points all in the second half.

The lose drops Texas A&M to 3-7 in Big 12 play and 12-10 overall.

Texas A&M Vs. Kansas State: Game Time, TV Info And Digging Holes

The Texas A&M Aggies return to action on Saturday when the Aggies take their talents to Manhattan to face the Kansas State Wildcats for the last time in Big 12 conference play. The Aggies pulled out a tough 64-56 win over then No. 24 K-State in last year's meeting at Reed Arena and with key players like Khris Middleton and Dash Harris returning to the lineup for Billy Kennedy, the hope is that this team can finish strong.

One key for this game will be if the Aggies can get started quickly, as Texas A&M is an astonishing 11-1 this year when leading at halftime with their only loss at Kansas. Moreover, the Aggies are 11-0 when leading with 5 minutes to play. The problem has been that this team has a tendency to dig themselves into holes and have been ill-equipped to get out of them due to a lack of firepower.
