The No. 9 seeded Texas A&M Aggies used a late scoring burst late in the second half to move onto the quarterfinals round of the Big 12 conference tournament by defeating the No. 8 seeded Oklahoma Sooners 62-53.
Oklahoma hit a pair of free throws with 4:31 left to trail 47-45, but form then on it was all Texas A&M. The Aggies went on a 10-2 run to go up 10 points to seal the win. Texas A&M had four players score in double figures with David Loubeau and Khris Middleton each scoring 14 points in the win.
Texas A&M's next game will be against the No. 1 seed Kansas Jayhawks at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday.
