Texas A&M will resume playing Arkansas at Cowboys Stadium in 2014.
The Texas A&M Aggies and the Arkansas Razorbacks will be moving their football games back to Arlington, Texas, in 2014, according to the Houston Chronicle. The two programs had played at Cowboys Stadium the previous three years when Texas A&M was a member of the Big 12.
A&M president R. Bowen Liffin spoke about the importance of the Arlington location:
"Having a game annually in the MetroPlex is very advantageous for Texas A&M from a visibility and recruiting standpoint, and we have an annual opportunity for our student-athletes to experience one of the country’s finest football stadiums."
The two teams have an agreement to play in Cowboys Stadium through 2024. This news may also impact another A&M game currently being discussed by the SEC.
