Texas A&M Fall Camp: Kevin Sumlin Updates The Aggies

Stay connected for news and updates

A lot is set to change for the Texas A&M Aggies this season. The two biggest differences are their move to the SEC conference and the team debut of new head coach, Kevin Sumlin.

As the team continues their preseason practices, Sumlin spoke with the media about what he's seen so far.

When talking about the team. Sumlin specifically singled out the defense as the unit he was impressed with. He added that they need to work together and then should be very strong.

The team will put on pads for Monday's practice, something that Sumlin believes will bring out more in a lot of his players.

The season begins on Aug. 30 for the Aggies, when they open on the road against Louisiana Tech. Their first SEC game is at home against Florida on Sept. 8.
