Christine Michael's tweet during Texas A&M's win Saturday didn't go unnoticed by head coach Kevin Sumlin.
Kevin Sumlin doesn't need Christine Michael's advice. The Texas A&M head football coach said Tuesday he was aware of his suspended running back's instructive tweet during the Aggies' 48-3 win over SMU on Saturday. Michael, who didn't travel with the game for violating team rules, tweeted during the game: "Man run the ball."
Sumlin said during a Tuesday press conference he had addressed the matter with MIchael, a senior. MIchael and safety Steven Campbell, who was also suspended for the SMU game, are set to play Saturday against South Carolina State, Sumlin said on Tuesday.
The Aggies get another break from SEC play against South Carolina State before hostin Arkansas and traveling to play Ole Miss over the next two weeks.
