Kansas State and Oklahoma are the co-champions of the Big 12, while Texas and Oklahoma State settled for a third-place tie.
The Kansas State Wildcats clinched a berth in a BCS bowl with a 42-24 victory over the Texas Longhorns on Saturday. They'll get the nod due to their victory earlier this season over the Oklahoma Sooners, who finished in a tie with the Wildcats for first place in the Big 12 Conference.
The Sooners held on to defeat the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday, 21-14, to earn a share of the title. They'll finish well below the Wildcats in the BCS standings, which will likely keep the Sooners out of a BCS bowl.
Finising three games behind the co-champions are the Longhorns and the Oklahoma State Cowboys, both of which finished conference play at 5-4. The Horned Frogs, Baylor Bears, Texas Tech Red Raiders and West Virginia Mountaineers all ended the league slate at 4-5, while the Iowa State Cyclones are just behind at 3-6.
The Kansas Jayhawks failed to win a Big 12 game, finishing the year at 0-9 in conference play and 1-11 overall.
