In life there are no guarantees at getting second chances, so when you get the opportunity for a second one you should definitely take advantage of the opportunity. For Houston native and New York Giants defensive tackle Rocky Bernard, his time is now.
Bernard, the former Texas A&M Aggie, was a member of the Seattle Seahawks for Super Bowl XL when they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 21-10 in Detroit. Its a feeling that he remembers vividly.
"You’re sitting on the bench, the confetti’s coming down, they tell you to hurry up and get off the field," Bernard says. "You don’t want to be there. It’s not a good feeling. The feeling of losing — nobody remembers who was in the Super Bowl and lost." -- Rocky Bernard
Bernard looks to be an integral part of stopping the run for the Giants as the defensive tackles registered 30 tackles, a forced fumble, and three past deflections this season.
