The Texas Longhorns visit the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday night in the Big 12 opener for both teams. UT and OSU will meet under the lights at Boone Pickens Stadium on national television, 8:50 p.m. ET Saturday on Fox.

No. 12 Texas opened the season in Austin by blowing out two Mountain West teams - Wyoming and New Mexico - then smothered Ole Miss 66-31 in Oxford on Sept. 15. Oklahoma State has obliterated Savannah State and Louisiana at home, but fell 59-38 to Arizona on the road.

Texas stud defensive end Alex Okafor has three sacks in three games and goes against an Oklahoma State offensive line that hasn't given up a sack yet in 2012. Cowboys quarterback Wes Lunt is likely out, and J.W. Walsh will step into his position.

Oklahoma State leads the nation in scoring with 62.3 points per game. Texas is seventh with 49.3 ppg. The Longhorns have never lost in six visits to Stillwater under Mack Brown.

The books are conflicted on this game, though the majority have Texas as a two-point favorite, in Stillwater. The over-under is hovering around 65 for most bookmakers.
