Texans Week Six Vs. Chiefs: Texans Work Out QB's And WR's

Coming off a devastating beatdown at the hands of the Giants, the Texans (3-2) are handed an opportunity to make a prime push for playoff position as they are set to take on the Chiefs (3-1) in Houston. The Chiefs are coming off a loss in Indianapolis, but they played pretty well and held the Colts to just 19 points. The kickoff will be at noon CT, and thankfully the Texans are off FOX for the rest of the year barring a Super Bowl appearance. CBS is the beneficiary, and Gus Johnson will be shrieking his lungs off. If you're radio bound, Sports Radio 610 AM, 100.3 KILT FM, OR La Tremenda 1010 AM are your friends for the day.

After last week, it's hard to get a sense of what the key matchups are, mainly because the Texans were demolished in every phase of the game. The Chiefs don't get very many yards through the air, but they are ranked middle of the pack in Football Outsiders' DVOA in it, which is pretty much exactly where the Giants are even after last week. So don't count your "Matt Cassell is awful" eggs before they hatch.

The Chiefs are favored by 800 million points. No wait, that's just how it feels in my head. The Texans are actually favored by 4.5 points. Does Vegas know something that we don't? I guess you'll have to tune in Sunday to find out.
