Houston Rockets guard Kyle Lowry will sit out the team's next two preseason games with a bruised knee, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Houston Rockets point guard Kyle Lowry will miss two preseason games after an MRI exam showed that he has a bone bruise in his right knee.
The 6-foot Lowry said Friday that he will sit out Houston's games this weekend, but will travel with the team when it leaves Sunday for a weeklong tour of China that includes two games against New Jersey.
Lowry has had a fantastic start to the preseason so far. He recorded seven assists in 24 minutes in Houston's win over San Antonio Thursday night. He re-signed with the Rockets in the offseason and is due to make $5.75 million in 2011.
